Bio of Tom Mann
Tom’s career background is based in industrial sales, marketing
and design engineering. His employment includes time with Chrysler, Ingersoll Milling Machine,
Gilman Engineering and Dixon Automatic Tool. Tom is currently retired and devotes his time to SCORE,
is treasure for Ingersoll Retirees Organization and on the Stewardship Committee of Roscoe United
Methodist Church.
Tom’s educational background includes AS degree in Machine Design from
Rock Valley College and BS in Management from Cardinal Stritch College. Tom also completed the
American Management Association Management course.
Tom’s work experience includes design of
complex machine elements used in special machine tools and special assembly equipment used in the
automotive industry. His sales and marketing includes managing sales organizations, developing
marketing programs for sophisticated industrial equipment, training sales representatives, and
managing dealer organizations.
In addition, Tom has extensive experience in developing
manufacturing systems for machining complex automotive, construction, heavy machine power generation
components. Tom also has experience in developing and managing large budgets.
