Chapter Webmaster
- Maintains chapter web site at http://www.NorthernIllinoisSCORE.org.
- Maintains SCORE chapter site at http://NorthernIllinois.SCORE.org.
- With minimal direction, promotes workshops, events, and local SCORE functions on web sites utilizing good writing skills and practical business knowledge.
- May assist Email Marketing/Social Media Content Developer with design templates and HTML related work.
- Maintains the Wordpress blog at http://www.NorthernIllinoisSCORE.org/blog.
- Maintains Northern Illinois SCORE YouTube account.
- May assist in the maintainence and update of the office computer system.
- Attends regular monthly and chapter member meetings.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint; Uses WYSIWYG editor like MS Expressions, Dreamweaver or similar editor.
- Understands HTML and can write original HTML coding.
- Proficient in the use of image editing software like Corel Paint or Adobe (Photoshop). Is able to create images, edit images, optimize images for the web sites and for Email Marketing Developer.
- Proficient in the use of video on web sites; post flv video to sites.
- Possesses knowledge of, or has the ability to learn Drupal Content Management System.
- Understands and implements CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) on chapter web pages.
- Requests input from chapter members and officers for web content.
- Reviews published web content with Chairperson on a timely basis as needed.
- May supervise Email Marketing/Social Media Content Developer.
Chapter Email Marketing/Social Media Content Developer
- Maintains Constant Contact Email Marketing Campaigns and contact lists.
- Publishes HTML Emails for business roundtables, workshops, and events.
- Maintains Twitter page and periodically �tweets� about events, email campaigns, or workshops.
- Maintains Facebook page. Adds content to Facebook page regularly when developed by Chapter Webmaster.
- Maintains LinkedIn page.
- Attends regular monthly and chapter member meetings.
Skill Set and Working Relationships for Chapter Email Marketing/Social Media Content Developer
- Requests input from chapter members and officers for email and social media content.
- Reviews published campaigns with Chapter Webmaster, and/or Chapter Chairperson, if warranted.
- Should have some understanding of HTML, but need not be skilled in the use of it; knows how to copy and paste HTML.
- Must know how to resize images, apply images, and apply hyperlinks.
- Takes direction on technical issues from Chapter Webmaster.
- Takes direction on marketing/promotion programs from Chapter Chairperson.
Office Manager
- Maintains chapter calendar at http://www.calendarwiz.com/score; Updates calendar to ensure mentors are available at the regularly scheduled mentoring times posted on the web site, or stated in the voice message.
- Checks phone messages to ensure that the chapter volunteers answer voice and email messages within 12 to 48 hours of receipt on message machine or email inbox.
- Maintains the office in a clean and uncluttered setting.
- Periodically checks for the presence of adequate office supplies including paper, printer paper, toner, ink cartridges, etc.
- Keeps the filing cabinets current so that annual business plans, goals, and district reviews can be found when needed.
- Maintains confidential records in the locked storage room.
- Builds or coordinates the efforts to build a supply of Client Mentoring Packets with the suggested handouts; Maintains an adequate supply so that mentors do not have to personally assemble the packets.
- Attends regular monthly and chapter member meetings
- Works with Secretary and CTC Coordinator to develop and maintain an adequate hard copy filing system for cases.
- Works with Chapter Chairperson to maintain confidential records.
- Solicits input and responds to all chapter members on a variety of needs.
- Takes administrative direction from Chapter Chairperson.
- Should be a person that is flexible and likes to help others.
